  5. Taitung Drug Abuser Treatment Center is opening a “Computer Hardware Installation Training Course for the Detained”, from April 17 to June 12, 2009. The total is 24 training hours.

  6. There will be a “Calling Home on Mother’s Day” activity for the detained on May 4, 5, and 6, 2009. The location will be in the “Telephone Reception Room”.

  7. The center is opening “Farming Skills Training Course for the detained”, from April 6 to 29, 2009. The total is 52 training hours.

  8. The center held a “Sutra of the Great Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva” reading class to nurture a better mindset for the detained. Six Buddhist masters including the Zen Master Lin Ching-Ming (林慶明禪師) and the Buddhist Master Chu-Yin (竹音法師) were invited to instruct the detained in reading the sutra.

  9. Gratuitous Treatment from Tsu Chi Medical Association was Successfully Completed

  10. Consumption Vouchers was released on Jan 18th. People belong to correctional organizations can also enjoy this benefit on this day.
